Note re this poem: About a year ago I received a series of crank phone calls featuring disturbing photographs and a warning not to go to a certain city. I filed a complaint to the FCC, and they replied that there was nothing I could do about it.

Hmm. Maybe I’ll go with that. In writing about my recent bouts with real vertigo, what immediately came to mind was cliché. Sure, why not?

I keep reading this one over and over and am still not sure what I think about it.

The line breaks are all interesting. And there’s a lot going on.

Should there be some punctuation mark after _the wall_ in the final stanza? Or do you intend “the wall/I have no will” (which certainly still makes the same sense, in its run on way, probably with or without the additional punctuation)? Just that it seems a bit of stumbler and somewhat inconsistent with the rest of the text punctuation wise. Unsure whether that matters or not. But I continue coming back to it.

Like I said at the beginning, I keep rereading the thing and am still unsure how I feel about it. Actually, at the beginning, I said I was unsure what I think about it.

My confusions must exist somewhere between thought and feeling. Which is so often the case.
